Cheap hotels in Emmen

This was our third stay at Villa Emmen. We were sorry to have to forgo breakfast, which was really very good both of the other times we stayed, because of an early train connection. The B&B is very close to Emmen's rail station. Our room was quite spacious with 2 balconies, a refrigerator, a Nespresso machine with plenty of capsules, and tea making facilities.

The host was charming and welcoming and genuinely cared that I have everything I needed, took the time to introduce me to items unfamiliar to me such as the European coffee maker, lights, and climate controls. She was wonderful! The room was also charming. This one room with full bath guest house was more than sufficient for my needs and was so very comfortable. All the creature comforts and the details put together with great care. I will absolutely go back!

Quiet location in a beautiful landscape, wiytj very friendly people

I loved how clean and tidy everything was. It is obviously a newer property, and all the details have been considered carefully. The curtains were especially luxurious. I appreciated that the studio could be completely darkened because that is important for me for good sleep. I slept so well there. The quiet of the countryside, with the beautiful birdsong in the morning, was so peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen table worked great as a desk for me, too, because I needed to study while there and I had room to work. It felt very safe, also, which is important for a woman traveling alone. The hostess was lovely to chat with when I arrived and I can tell that she takes great pride in offering a retreat for her guests. I hope to return with my teen sometime soon so that we can explore the historic, natural, and artistic attractions in the Drenthe area.

Fantastic place to switch-off from the city crowd and enjoy a time in a cosy and silent place.
