Cheap hotels in Meghauli

We had a great stay at Tiger Wildlife Resort! Our room had an amazing view of the jungle and we could see many beautiful birds. We saw some spotted deer right next to the resort. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. Would visit again!

As others have commented, staying with Hari and his family is a truly special experience and beats a standard safari/lodging package any day. The homecooked meals, yoga classes, and Hari's passion for the jungle made this experience shine. I did one half-day jeep safari and another half-day walking one, and we saw 2 tigers in the buffer zone (without even going into the national park). The rooms themselves are comfortable and spacious. If you have down time, you can take bikes from their place for free. Their dog, Tarzan, is very sweet too :)

If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! Comfortable rooms with an amazing view of the national park. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food options, and dining with the park view makes the experience even more special. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The staff were very helpful, providing useful local tips and suggestions. Overall, a lovely resort hotel in Chitwan.
