Cheap hotels in Câmpia Turzii

It was a nice place for one night rest.

This place was surprisingly nice for being off the beaten path like it is. We spent two wonderful weeks in Romania. The stop at Hotel Nicolas was on our way from Bucovina toward the Sibiu area. I was looking on Booking.com for a good place to stay and this one popped up. It is about 30 minutes from Turda and the salt mines so it may attract visitors from there. We felt very lucky to find such a nice place in what seemed to be off the beaten track. We got lucky. I don't think they have many American visitors either. Maybe all visitors are treated like we were, but they made us feel very special. We did eat supper there. I had chocolate pancakes and my husband had a burger. It was delicious. Nicolas, himself, came to visit and brought along some delicious treats too. And I know he was disappointed to find out we don't drink alcohol because he wanted to treat us to some of his father's homemade brew. Breakfast was also included. I believe my husband had an English breakfast. I saw oatmeal on the menu and decided to go with that. I didn't think it would probably be enough for me. I love breakfast, but this was unique and delicious. It was served in a large goblet. I'm not sure it had any milk in it, but maybe honey and walnuts and not soggy at all. I wish I knew the recipe and had taken a picture of it. It was an excellent and interesting stop on our trip and I'm very glad we found it. There was also fruit, water, coffee and tea available in the room. Sorry the picture of the room was taken after we had already made ourselves comfortable. It was also VERY reasonably priced!!

The room was stunning and the whole area of the hotel was superb. There are many outdoor seating areas and a river which goes through the premises. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast yummy and the location perfect. You can park in front of the place for free.

Perfect to have a good rest before continuing a journey. Clean, comfortable, very good beds and mattresses, for a good night’s sleep, cool and quiet, excellent value for money.

Quiet location not far from Turzii Gorges. The owner was very kind. Everything is brand new and very clean. Good price. One feels very welcome to stay here. The property also has a pool, restaurant, and a small market.

Very comfortable & good size. Free parking. Perfect for 2 adults plus another 2-3 children.

We found and booked this place at the very last minute and very late at night, but the owners were very nice and kind. Despite the hour they met us and helped us to get to our room. The place is very well made, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were very glad that we ended up at this place after a very tiring day. I will definitely recommend it to friends and will stop there again.

Clean, good location, communication with the host was good.

The host was very helpful and polite. The apartment was small, maybe too small for 4 people, but perfect for one couple only. It was very nice nevertheless. We only stayed there from evening till very early morning and we had everything we needed. There is parking lot in front of the building, which was great.

It was very clean and it was very near to supermarket and the city of Cluj.
