Cheap hotels in Sukhothai

Among all rented places while travelling/crossing Thailand…ONE of my favorites place….return each times…this is my 3rd time….and shall again!

This is a nice guesthouse. The location is convenient as it's in the center of the new town, close to the main road to the old town. You can easily call Bolt to get to the old town or possibly to the train station. We got 2 rooms, one was in the first floor of main building and one was in one of the bungalows. Both rooms were nice, convenient and clean including the private bathrooms. The beds were comfortable with perfectly clean sheets. The Internet worked well. There are restaurants and supermarket just on the main street. Amazon Cafe some 10 minutes away. The morning market is just a minute at the temple. The new town is a nice place to see real Thailand without too many tourists. We enjoyed staying here and would be happy to come back.

The bungalows were much nicer than the photos suggested, as was the pool. We loved our time here!

This is one of my favorite hotels in Thailand and actually in general. I stayed here twice: in late 2019 and in early 2024. Hotel is ideal place for family or if you just want to stay alone in calm area on nature yet with high level of comfort and still close to civilization. Rooms are in small bungalows carefully made of wood surrounded with tropical garden. There is tiny river 20 meters behind. Atmosphere is very calm - no noise and crowds. Everything (wifi, shower, AC) work very good. Wifi internet actually was faster than my dtac internet. And there are two ways to reach Old Town by foot or bicycle. Inside the hotel you can eat home food and rent a bicycle or order tuk tuk. Owner is very nice intelligent and hardworking Thai woman. She makes all her best to care about hotel. Hotel is quite fresh because when Thailand was closed in 2020-2022 she renovated everything. also owner is very flexible and quickly responds to messages: i wanted to pay not by credit card but in cash on the spot. so we quickly solved this question by correspondence in messages

Quiet location even if near busy road. Pretty grounds.

Quiet, charming hotel. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff was helpful and gracious. They helped us arrange a driver for some sightseeing. We stayed at this resort over the New Year's holiday. It was easy to walk back and forth from the hotel to the historic park. The bicycles were in rough shape and could use some maintenance or replacement. Our room was spacious and pretty.

Everything about the Lotus Place Sukhothai was very pleasant and relaxing. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfasts to order was delicious, filling and with the omelette and cheese omelette made to perfection.

Great place to stay if you want to visit old sukhothai. It's right next to the bus station, but still a quiet and separated area. I rented a bike from here. I really recommend getting either a bike or scooter and taking the bike path to old sukhothai, it's a great experience in itself. The room had AC and was very clean. I'd stay again.

Very clean, great staff and comfortable staff. The staff went above and beyond to help us in anyway needed. Local information. Breakfast and places to eat. Made sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable.

Situated right in the centre of New Sukhothai, yet quiet and relaxing rooms set amongst greenery. Very helpful owner offers information even before you ask for it. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located at a quiet road, not fat from the old city and the historical park. Plenty of parking and bicycles for rent. It's beautifully and tastefully decorated, looking rather a traditional Thai house than a hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very attentive and helpful, offering several alternatives about what to do during your stay. Delicious breakfast with vatietof Asian dishes plus some Western options .

The staff is very nice and helpful. The place is comfortable and well kept. Also it's great that there is unlimited free water at our disposition. Bicycles are also free.

The guest house is just a very short walk from the historic park and the weekend night market. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom designed so that the shower water was contained and didn't make the entire floor wet. A refrigerator was a nice touch. And there was coffee, toast and cookies in the morning -- not exactly breakfast but something to hold you over until you can walk to one of the many nearby restaurants.

I loved my stay here, nice big spacious aircon room with balcony and just a stones throw away from the park. Owners very welcoming and help me arrange my onward travels. I can definitely recommend this place with confidence!

Beautiful property, very nicely laid out with ponds & bridges, lots of plants. Very quiet with a nice pool. Away from town, but still close enough to easily get around.

This is an excellent place. It is located a few hundred meters off the main road so is very quiet. These are a few houses around a swimming pool. There are lots of trees and plants, it is all very green and nice. The swimming pool is also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful with whatever request you might have - including sightseeing tips. The breakfasts are excellent, very interesting local food. The house we had was very good, very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was very big, it was also nice there was a small roofed part outside to leave shoes or things like that. The quality / price ratio was very good, we would definitely return if we are again in the area some time in the future.

Firstly, Sukhothai is such a great town to visit, with the excellent Historical Parks and night market, etc. Sawasdee is very conveniently located to the main part of town and the entrance to Sukhothai HP, both just a short cycle away. You can get a free bike at the hotel to explore the city which is super helpful. Breakfast is lovely in the open-air restaurant. And there is a restaurant across the road for lunch/dinner, though I found myself going to the night market in town for dinner. The managers were so friendly/helpful. The room is very spacious with good WIFI. The pool on site was superb. Loved it here.
