Excellent location, very clean and airy! I booked one of their private rooms and it was more comfortable than I expected from a hostel room.

The location is great, close to a beautiful beach that is always not so crowded, so it’s a perfect “private beach”. The facilities are beautiful, the pool is great, the breakfast is incredibly, and the staff is super friendly.

Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This place is so beautiful! The pool is lovely and they have “stools” in the water in th shade so I was able to work with my legs soaking and papers safely on the edge. Also the property is super close to restaurants, ocean, national park and the little grocery store. However I don’t think you can easily swim at the beach nearby.

The place is beautiful, the garden is full of the fauna coming from the Cahuita national park, we saw monkeys and lots of birds. The kitchen is shared but is big and well equipped

Amazing place, everything works perfectly.

The good vibes here started immediately upon our arrival. Xinia, the host, lives separately on the property so she was there to greet my sister and I upon arrival. It was easy to get the keys for our casitas and Xinia was a gracious hostess, who showed us all we needed to know about the property and also offered her services for transportation. The casitas were comfortable and clean, and the kitchens were supplied with everything we needed. We only used the internet for use of Netflix and phones, but it was great for our needs. This property is a walkable distance outside the town of Cahuita, which made it perfect for us to be able to relax and enjoy the abundant nature around, without the noise of a town or parties. I enjoyed my morning coffee listening to the sounds of the howler monkeys that can be seen in the neighboring trees, watching and listening to keel-billed and chestnut-mandibled toucans as well as collared aracaris, seeing Montezuma Oropendolas flying about and calling their distinctive call, watching grey necked wood rails and agoutis running through the property, and enjoying the numerous other birds that the gardens of the property attract. Xinia was easy to contact when we needed her or had questions, and was exceptionally available when we asked her to provide transportation to Cahuita or neighboring towns. She speaks very good English and charged for services a very comparable fee to other providers. She also is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is very happy to share the culture and customs of this part of Costa Rica with you. Xinia owns two dogs, Lito and Gucci, who are both loving and sweet. If you are missing a pet of your own, they are wonderful companions who will appreciate your attention, but Xinia also will respect your preference if dogs aren't your "thing." She can also act as a concierge to coordinate trips and tours for you.

​I was searching for a place to truly connect with nature, work in peace, and meet like-minded, positive people. This place was absolutely all of that and so much more! From the tranquil surroundings to the welcoming atmosphere, it exceeded every expectation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and fulfilling getaway!
