A DREAM.Everything, this was absolutely perfect! I’ve never been so quick to leave a review! I literally came back today and it’s been a dream! Everything is clean, this one is private so you’re away from the other tents , the spot is perfect! It was just perfect I wouldn’t think twice just book! Dawood drove me to the desert and explained a lot about Oman in general. This was so perfect!

I had an amazing experience staying one night at Atana Bidiya Private Camp. The elevated tent setup in the middle of the desert was unique and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding dunes, especially during sunrise and sunset. Excellent location, near to all strategic places in the area. Also very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, available for any need and supportive, notably the property owner, Mohammed. He took us to see the blue light at the beach during the evening and arranged our sea cruise to watch the dolphins.

Our stay at Moon Light Camp was wonderful. Easy communication with the hosts who are very accommodating. The triangle shaped bungalow is a nice distance from the other tents, giving you privacy and a great view. The room has everything you need, and the hot tub worked (although it does run out of hot water before being full, but this is understandable for the desert). Easy to organize a transfer from Bidiyah and to reserve activities at the camp (sand boarding, quad bike, camel ride, dune bashing…). The breakfast and dinner were also delicious, with good variety.

Salem Fish Guest House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Al Ḩadd where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. The air-conditioned accommodations are 1.5 miles from Al Hadd Beach.

Salem was the best host of our entire Oman trip. He brought us to see rescued turtles and blue tears. It was magical seeing thousands of dolphins on his boat ride. He personally made karak tea for us. When we needed his help he was always there. He had lots of tips to explore the area eg the pink beach. Dinner was a wonderful spread. We had the best briyani in the whole of Oman. Fish and prawns were very fresh. Staff was very friendly and lovely. He also has a very affectionate cat that needs a lot of attention.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the city.

It was a wonderful stay! The weather allowed us to sleep outside looking at the stars ,which was amazing. Food was great and everyone was very hospitable. Everything was prepared for our comfort . The location is great,we saw goats and camels walking in the desert and enjoyed silence and peace.
