The room design and location are very good, and I appreciated the availability of bicycle rentals and the generous breakfast. The hotel’s restaurant is also a big bonus — the food was delicious.

Planinska koča na Uskovnici was an ideal stop on our hut-to-hut hiking in Triglav. The hosts were lovely and welcomed us dripping wet and exhausted from our long hike (in the pouring rain). They were very friendly and helpful-- The beds were very comfortable and we were delighted to have a hot shower in our private bathroom (not often available in mountain huts). The views from our room and from the dining room were gorgeous and we had a friendly and fun conversation with a neighbor as we wandered about enjoying the sunset after dinner. Loved seeing the cows grazing on the hillside below the hut. The food was good and plentiful. Highly recommend the traditional cottage cheese dumplings for dessert. They were delicious! Overall a great overnight in a beautiful setting.

Sasa was incredibly helpful and nice. The apartment was spotless and the views out the back were stunning. This quiet location was walking distance to the lake with a couple of small shops closer by. The space was also bigger than I expected.

Home away from home is located in Bohinj, just a 4-minute walk from Aquapark & Wellness Bohinj and 12 miles from The Bled Island.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is just perfect with lots of hiking trails in nature close by, a 10 min walk from the beautiful lake and a 5 min drive to the ski slopes. The food at the hotel is amazing and the staff (and the owner) are very kind and helpful. The sauna in the room is a big plus!

The host was just amazing, very kind and caring. The location was very nice and quiet, with just a 5 minute walk to the lake beach. We really liked the idea of the shared corner with tea, coffee, oil, seasonings, etc. Being the house, there was a very nice back garden with a terrace where we were eating while looking at the mountains.

So thoughtfully set up! I really appreciated arriving to a holiday kitchen which supplied oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, sugar, garlic powder and salt pepper, foil, and plastic wrap—the convenience factor is HUGE!!! Also, they have provided excellent storage solutions for everything. And I liked how it was a 2 minute walk from an excellent restaurant Pr’ Prisac

The accomodation Is very clean and confy. It was a pleasure to stay here. The hosts are very welcome and they give you additional tips and advices if its your first time here. Not far away from the lake and other important things too see. Definitely a recommendation!
