The guesthouse is tucked away on a side street in a quiet neighborhood of Entebbe. Although we weren't sure how to check in, when we banged on the gate the caretaker Jeffrey soon came to let us in. A long driveway leads up to the home, nicely maintained in the midst of beautiful gardens. The room was as expected - small but functional, with screens, mosquito netting, warm showers and a fan. The area is quiet, but it's easy to reach the shops at Kampala road by boda boda. It's also a very short boda ride (or a 15 minute walk) to the harbor where the Shoebill tours leave from. Jeffrey was super friendly and helpful, and kindly prepared an early (delicious!) breakfast for us so we could make our sunrise Shoebill tour. The staff also let us check out later and hang around for a few more hours while waiting to go to the airport. We felt at home and well taken care of!

This place truly stands out among all the places I’ve stayed in Entebbe. It’s cozy, spotlessly clean, and located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood that’s easily accessible by all means of transport. Situated near the UN base, the area feels very secure. It’s also within walking distance of a supermarket, which is very convenient. The host is exceptionally welcoming and cheerful, always checking in to ensure your comfort. The bathroom is clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels. The apartment includes great amenities like Netflix, a well-equipped kitchen, a washer, and a decent balcony to relax on. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Entebbe.
