Green Vanilla is an oasis in Bali. The host Mudi and everyone else who works there goes out of their way to welcome you and make you feel home. The bungalows are so lovely to stay in, very clean and comfortable. The ac and hot water is also very nice. The front porch with the hammock on the bungalow is so relaxing! The restaurant and cooking class on site is AMAZING. Many other people come from nearby places just for the amazing food. I felt so lucky to stay here and call this home for my time in Sidemen.

Everything is organized to profit local business and support Sidemen as a whole (the gift shop gives back part of the money, there are activities that promote the area, you can donate..). The hotel itself is stunning, comfortable to say the least with a real high end experience The staff is incredibly kind and helpful To top it all off the restaurant was unbelievable, from breakfast to dinner Can’t wait to come again

I stayed at Uma Agung for my 5-night trip to Sidemen, and I couldn't have been happier. They were helpful and friendly from the moment I arrived, showing me to my room and giving me information about the hotel and the area. When I realized I forgot my adapter, the restaurant employees (Puspa!) let me charge my phone there and showed me where to buy a new cord. Everyone was consistently friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. AC was excellent. Pool was too. I will definitely come back!

Everything was perfect. The staff was very polite and really helpful on everything we needed. They were cleaning our room every day. They were asking if we need something more. The place was awesome. U feel like in paradise. We woke up in the morning and in front of us was the forest. First thing to see when we open up our eyes.

I had the single room with the balcony which was the best! I enjoyed every breakfast in that balcony, spent a lot of time there reading and journaling. It’s one of those places which inspires you and invite you to stay and contemplate. Comfy Bed and pillows, perfect for one person. Important to say: There is a window without curtain impossible to cover because is right under the AC 🙈 so bring your sleep mask to avoid disturbing lights. The location of the property is just perfect! In one of the most iconic streets in Ubud’s city center!! Sometimes a bit noisy, but not an issue. Balinese people are wonderful and the family who’s running this business is incredibly warm and welcoming!

It was SO close to everything you would want to see but also so quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the street. The owners are amazingly friendly and helpful and just genuinely good people and are there to help you with anything you may need. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved this place so much!
