We highly recommend Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse!!! We had such a lovely stay there! It was recommended from a friend and it surely didn’t disappoint! The family that runs it are super nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing - the yummiest egg hopers we’ve had in Srilanka. The room was lovely with a great view. And what we enjoyed most - was their cooking class!! They’ve created a lovely, homely kitchen where the cooking class happens. Very informative and fun cooking class. We truly enjoyed it. Our three daughters got involved in everything we were preparing and everything was delicious!!! Thank you so much! Id be happy to come back tomorrow :)

1. Location is good, 5-10 min walk from train station and restaurants 2. Owner is very accommodating and arranged tuk tuk at 4:45 to lipton’s seat for sunrise and packed breakfast with water for us. We walked down to the tea factory and took bus back to town. 3. Owner also recommended us how to take bus to our next destination to the coast! It was easy and saved us a lot of money. ( by car is 25000 rp and it costs 1500 rp for two ppl in the bus) though we don’t have suitcase but backpacks so ok for taking bus 4. The view is very nice though a lot of time is covered by clouds 5. Wifi and hot water work well. no fan/ac in the room but it was cold in March so i don’t think fan or ac needed 5. try green paradise restaurant which is good and cheap. The mint mist restaurant has a good view but more pricy

The location is quite remote but stunningly beautiful and peaceful. The gardens and grounds are well maintained and the view of the mountains change minute by minute due to the weather and clouds. The staff is ready to answer any question and provide anything you wish. Take a tour of the tea factory, it’s short but informative!

Unique location, beautiful garden, comfortable bungalow, friendly staff.

This was a real treat. There were only 4 people in the entire resort at the time, since we came at the end of Easter vacation and the begining of the wet and shoulder season. The grounds are gorgeous, the garden, wonderful, the staff was very helpful and nice, and we had an upgrade that was not short of royal: I truly thought that we entered a several-room bungalow whereas it was our room! A room with a patio and a front and a side terrasses. Monkeys playing in the trees in the morning. The nature is very present and lush and beautiful. We went on a hike which we couldn't finish, since we've discovered a new species we had never met before: leeches. My daughter freaked! But it was an experience. She very much enjoyed the pool, overlooking the valley, and I booked an ayurvedic massage, which was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The man had very skilled hands. It is a place to get lost into, it feels last the days of yore, an estate to spend peaceful days. Unfortunately it wasn't our case, since we booked only a night, thereby shortening a safari that would have been (accurately so!) too long had we stayed an extra night. So it was an stop-by in between locations, booked a bit last-minute. Our next destination was Amba Estate, one of the few existing estates rolling tea by hand, with a social purpose since it has very good labor conditions and employs the villagers, thereby creating a strong community. I would recommend as well, it's not that far, on the other side of the mountain, hence "on the way" toward Ella, where we jumped on a train to our next adventures. Thank you again for having us and allowing such a beautiful stay. I also had the best cocktail and we both enjoyed our meals!

Everything was perfect. One of the nicest stays I’ve ever had anywhere! Perfect for a couple, or a big family reunion. Raju is an amazing cook.

The location were lovely. Very cozy place and they had a nice elevated view of the town. The family room had a massive TV as well that we regretfully did not use as well. The staff was great and very polite. There is not a lot to do on site, but value for money-wise this location is perfect to relax. Genuinely nothing negative to say in terms of experience.

A well maintained, clean and hygienic bungalow with ancient looking modern building. The owner cum care taker starting from the time of booking till the departure assures good service. The stay and food are reasonable priced. 3 rooms which can comfortably occupy 12 adults. Child friendly environment. Nice Garden. Very silent location with morning and evening bird chirps. Just 4 kms for Bandarawela town. All in all good place for stay.
