I highly recommend this place for so many reasons: • Location – easy to reach by car, and you can also take a tuk-tuk. • Cleanliness – everything was spotless. • Cozy atmosphere – it feels warm and welcoming. • Quality design – a tasteful mix of items from different countries and IKEA. • Delicious food – every meal was a treat. • Attentive service – the staff really cares. • Reliable internet – perfect for staying connected. We arrived straight from Colombo Airport to Nishi’s beautiful home in Kandy. Namadi Heights is a lovingly decorated private home filled with family history, memories, and artisanal antique pieces. Hidden in the mountains, it offers a stunning scenic view over the city and yet allows you to reach Kandy center easily by foot or Tuk Tuk. While you stay on the family’s property and can enjoy the outdoor common areas, you also have your own little entrance to a private terrace and the room with private bathroom. Nishi is a wonderful human being and an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, treated us to delicious food (probably the best breakfast we had in all of Sri Lanka!), and was incredibly helpful and supportive in organizing our activities and next travel steps. We unfortunately only stayed 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay longer, especially because we enjoyed our conversations with Nishi and her husband so much! They were our first link to land and culture and we are so grateful for all the information, tips and tricks. Thank you, Nishi and Bandula, for everything, hopefully we will be back sooner than later🫶

Self-service bungalow, with separate independent entry. Beautifully located on a hill. There's a supermarket within a walkable distance. The area is quiet. Our host helped us arrange our railway tickets, and himself dropped us to the station early in the morning after check-out. Their kid is smart and fun to talk to. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfortable. The wifi, geyser, everything works fine. All in all, BEAUTIFUL STAY. You'll be taken care of, properly.
