Stayed for one night in one of the luxury bubbles, it was a wonderful experience. Peaceful (despite being the weekend and a lot of dune bashing going on in other luckily more remote camps) atmosphere in the deserts with ample options for activities. Proper 4x4 and sufficiently lowered tire pressure absolutely a must if you want to drive to the camp yourself (deep sand). What made the stay particularly memorable was the exceptional hospitality and care by Salim, the owner, and Lenin, who is running the camp day by day.

A DREAM.Everything, this was absolutely perfect! I’ve never been so quick to leave a review! I literally came back today and it’s been a dream! Everything is clean, this one is private so you’re away from the other tents , the spot is perfect! It was just perfect I wouldn’t think twice just book! Dawood drove me to the desert and explained a lot about Oman in general. This was so perfect!

My stay at this property was an absolute dream. If you are looking for a place to truly disconnect and enjoy some peace, this is it. With only three tents available, the sense of privacy and exclusivity in the middle of the desert is incredible. The staff members were the highlight of our trip. They are incredibly kind-hearted and attentive; no matter what questions or requests we had, everyone was more than happy to help with a genuine smile. 🪂 Must-Do: Paragliding If you stay here, you MUST try the paragliding! It was an exhilarating experience and worth every penny. Seeing the vast desert landscape from above is something I will never forget. Amazing spot in the desert surrounded by beautiful sand dunes. The camp itself is the perfect size (not too big not too small) to make the experience even more special. Tents are traditionnal and very comfy with great beds and a little bathroom. All staff is really nice and helpful. We made traditionnal bread and had a lovely dinner in the main area. Activities were fully organized by the camp before arrival. Thank you Alfarooq for making it so easy and enjoyable!! Full transfer from Muscat with a comfortable car and very reliable driver. Camel riding on the dunes Sand sliding Half day excursion in the desert with dune bashing and great driver ! We also enjoyed a very nice lunch under a tree in the desert with falafel rolls, fresh fruit and a plain option for kids with cheese. We absolutely loved our stay and we highly recommend AlSamardi Camp

EVERYTHING - from start to finish: Saeed gave very clear instructions for meeting location and time, helped with delating tires for desert driving and lead us to the camp. When we arrived, the check in was easy and our tent was AMAZING! This location was private - about a 7 minute drive up the dunes from the rest of the camp where we ate dinner and breakfast. The tent location was amazing - took GREAT pictures at sunset and woke up to hot air balloons going overhead. Inside the tent was beautiful - great bed and easy to relax. Bathroom was about 10 steps from the tent and was very nice for the middle of the desert! Dinner and time around the fire was very memorable - Saeed hosted so well, telling us stories and answering questions about life in the desert. We did not take part in the excursions, bc we've ridden camels before, but other guest who did said riding them and also the sand dunes 4 wheeling was a blast! Really enjoyed our time here and Saeed was an INCREDIBLE host!!!
