Amazing spot in the desert surrounded by beautiful sand dunes. The camp itself is the perfect size (not too big not too small) to make the experience even more special. Tents are traditionnal and very comfy with great beds and a little bathroom. All staff is really nice and helpful. We made traditionnal bread and had a lovely dinner in the main area. Activities were fully organized by the camp before arrival. Thank you Alfarooq for making it so easy and enjoyable!! Full transfer from Muscat with a comfortable car and very reliable driver. Camel riding on the dunes Sand sliding Half day excursion in the desert with dune bashing and great driver ! We also enjoyed a very nice lunch under a tree in the desert with falafel rolls, fresh fruit and a plain option for kids with cheese. We absolutely loved our stay and we highly recommend AlSamardi Camp

This place gave us most memorable and special experience!! The staff are super nice. Since it’s private camp, so only maybe 10 families live there, when we have meals together, travelers from different countries all like friends, so cool. I like the breakfast and dinner. We booked the most expensive rooms in this camp. They are exceptional.

La Duna Desert Camp is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the desert but with a bit more comfort. We chose La Duna because instead of authentic bedouin tent since we wanted something cozy and relaxing, and it was exactly that. The camp has a great location: private and peaceful, but still easy to reach. The whole atmosphere is beautiful, warm, and a little romantic, especially in the evening. The food was delivered to our tent and it was absolutely delicious. We didn’t do any activities, but the team was so friendly and enthusiastic that we’re sure a 4x4 trip to the sand dunes with them would be amazing. A big highlight of this camp is the bathroom, it honestly feels like having your own mini spa in the middle of the desert. If you’d like a comfortable, charming, and quiet desert experience, we definitely recommend staying at La Duna Desert Camp.

The warmest welcome by Mr. Badr and his entire family. We felt privileged to stay with them enjoyed home-cooked, delicious food, and great company, exquisitely, prepared, sleeping arrangements, separate bathroom with everything one needs, separate dining area, and the lounge. A DREAM.Everything, this was absolutely perfect! I’ve never been so quick to leave a review! I literally came back today and it’s been a dream! Everything is clean, this one is private so you’re away from the other tents , the spot is perfect! It was just perfect I wouldn’t think twice just book! My stay at this property was an absolute dream. If you are looking for a place to truly disconnect and enjoy some peace, this is it. With only three tents available, the sense of privacy and exclusivity in the middle of the desert is incredible. The staff members were the highlight of our trip. They are incredibly kind-hearted and attentive; no matter what questions or requests we had, everyone was more than happy to help with a genuine smile. 🪂 Must-Do: Paragliding If you stay here, you MUST try the paragliding! It was an exhilarating experience and worth every penny. Seeing the vast desert landscape from above is something I will never forget. The place of the camp in the dunes is amazing. 360 degrees view over the desert. Nice place for sunset and so quit, that you can just hear the wind and the sand. Lovely tents, with really big bed and much space in the room. Very traditional place to stay, with so much love of details. The food was always frech and cooked on an open fire. The stuff are nice and always helpful. A nice memorier to never forget!

The camp is located in the desert and all is so beautiful - the tents are fitting in the nature in colors. The tents are very comfortable - but you are in a tent. The food is good, staff nice. The nigths are quiet, sunset and sunrise a unique experience and the dark nigths with lots stars. We will never forget this place and it will stay in our hearts

We had 2 tents for our party of 6. The tents were lovely with clean and comfortable beds and private bathrooms😁 Both breakfast and dinner was great. We did sunset camel trip which was well worth doing, and quad biking in the morning which the kids loved! Highly recommend this camp. Only 20 min into the desert, but it's in a great spot.

Loved everything about our stay in this desert camp. The drive there, the camp itself, the location, the buffet - it was a whole experience we will not forget. I was first not sure about the comfort of the “basic” sheikh tent but it was absolutely amazing!! We did not book any activity but instead went on a small walk along the dunes during sunset and it was just magical. According to the staff the pool of the private pool tents is heated, just in case this information helps anyone to decide.
