We loved our stay at Epifita, and wish it could have been longer! The property is gorgeous, the tent was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We especially liked waking up to a view of the trees. Highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were super nice, friendly and accommodating. Wilma stayed in my cabin to look after my pets one night so that I could go kayaking and see the bioluminescence in the harbor. You cannot beat this kind of customer care! Franco buit me a bonfire twice during my stay. You just have to ask and Wilma and Frano will do their best to accommodate you.The site itself is super quiet. I only had to look up to see monkeys, parrots and a great variety of birds. The kitchen was well equiped. I loved every minute of my stay there. Going to the beach was an adventure and my dogs loved the walk there. They struggled a bit crossing the river over a suspended log, but that was part of the adventure:) I only want to add that this is rough camping, simple and secluded. If this is what you are looking for, you will be in heaven.

It was a beautiful oasis in the hills of Monteverde. A drive to most activities but we knew that and expected it. We felt like there was nobody else for miles! Very private.
