Campgrounds in Mhamid

Not only the power of the desert was decisive for my experience, but also the care. My tent, traditional, furnished with large bed, good mattress and shower, nothing was missing. The food was delicious. Everything professionally organised especially the trip to erg Chegaga it was fab. visiting nomads and camel ride before sunset that was really great and staff cordial. This camp is absolutely amazing! Very quiet and relaxing. Clean and nice facilities. Ayoub the host was so lovely and friendly, we enjoyed hanging out with him. The food is also excellent! I can highly recommend this place.

Brahim and his staff were incredible. Such kindness. Such generosity. Such warmth. Everything was delightful…from the adventure to the desert, which is in Brahim’s home territory (so expect local knowledge and best kept secrets), to how well the camels are taken care of (wandering the desert, in their herd, only males being ridden etc), and his sisters beautiful traditional henna (which she did for me at camp) and her beautiful scarf shop in town (definitely recommend a trip there before going into the desert!), to the warm food, served with so much heart. Expect a camp with simple but beautiful accommodations, next to dunes, close to town (close enough to walk if you’re capable of walking over uneven terrain). The luxury comes from the connection to the land and the team of wonderful (and musically talented) individuals working to make each stay one filled with equal amounts of ease and adventure.

It was amazing holiday I spent in desert , the location is beautiful and calm , the food and the room is cleaned , I enjoyed 2 nights camel trekking to desert with Mubarak who really very kind and friendly and good guid . thank you for this wonderful journeys
