Search campgrounds in Waitomo Region

Like other reviewers mentioned, it was charming and unique with the animals, atmosphere. I love the relative remoteness with just a few cabins. The quadrillion stars above the cabin was a plus. The proximity to glow worm caves is also a plus.

We loved the character of the property. It was such a delightful little spot nestled in the countryside within a small farm. There were no staff around when we arrived but there were clear instructions where to go on arrival and contact numbers if necessary. There was a great shared kitchen and dining room that had all the facilities we needed. Very quirky decor and furniture, really full of character. The bedroom hut was very cosy and warn and the bed very comfortable - although the top bunk mattress was very hard when we tried it for size. We ended up sharing the double bed. The showers and loos are outside but close to the bedrooms and despite being basic the water was lovely and hot and the facilities very clean.

We arrived in the middle of the night and ended up into the wrong room that we booked! We literally took the whole house instead of the 2 cabins. The hosts were very kind they didn’t mind our mistake🙏. Beautiful souls indeed that reflects with amazing ambience of the farmland. Overall it’s superb!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Incredible price. Loved the scenery. The cabin was spacious, and had everything I needed. Kind hosts and not far from food, even on foot. Plus, I went out at night to look at the stars. Genuinely stunning. Would happily stay again.
