The food was amazing - great cooking with vegan and meat options, excellent breakfasts. I also need to highlight very friendly and helpful staff. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and the room was big and spacious.

A gorgeous spot with our room on a wide balcony high above the river providing a marvellous view over the countryside and the Daintree River. Staff are very pleasant, personable and most helpful. A great café restaurant, gift store and pub are just across the street. A great peaceful getaway, with a pleasant cruise available along the river as well 😀

The location is quite perfect, in the middle of the forest. Very secluded. Room very comfortable and air conditioner worked well. Continental breakfast was plentiful and staff happy to give advice. We had dinner, which was good value, in such a lovely setting. The pool came in handy.

Staying at Safari Lodge in Cape Tribulation was an unforgettable experience. The location is incredible—right in the middle of the rainforest and just minutes from the beach. Waking up surrounded by nature and hearing the sounds of the jungle was something special. The lodge itself was clean, comfortable, and had a really relaxed vibe. The pool area was perfect for cooling off after exploring, and the staff were friendly and welcoming the entire time. It felt like a great mix of adventure and comfort. Cape Tribulation is such a unique place where the rainforest meets the reef, and Safari Lodge is the perfect base to explore it. If you’re looking for a laid-back stay immersed in nature, I’d definitely recommend it.

A true piece of heaven in the rainforest of QSL with your very own waterfall to trek to and swim in... gorgeous spa outside the chalet to relax in and 5 star amenities and equipment!! Liz and Andy are wonderful hosts. Liz cooked us an amazing breakfast, and Andy treated us to an adventurous ride in his ATV to cassowary falls. Bear the German Shepard is friendly! The infinity swimming pool is a marvel 👌 Its by far the best way to experience the beauty of QLD mystic forest.

Best things about the property would be the location. Rooms were basic but comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating, they provide cutlery boxes on loan if you want to eat some of your meals in your room. On-site restaurant was excellent.

All cabins in Daintree

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Fantastic magical location, deep in the rainforest. The cabins are lovely and well supplied with toiletries, DVDs and a great kitchen. The staff were exceptional including Jason the manager and the evening and morning hospitality team. Jason was keen to show us the on-site walking trail and even carefully showed us a wild Cassowary which is local to the site.

We loved the location right in the middle of the ancient rainforest.. It was really easy to get to all the tourist attractions, and to amazing beautiful deserted beaches. Our cabin was really comfortable with everything we needed. Greg and Lisa were so welcoming, and we loved the home cooked meals they provided.

A stunning location with a view I could look at all day. The host was friendly and welcoming and took me to the fabulous waterfall for a swim. While they are still recovering after the devastation of cyclone Jasper, the accomodation was very comfortable with everything you could need from a self contained chalet. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings.

We had a really lovely chalet, which was well equipped and the hot tub was perfect. The walk to the waterfall that goes from the farm was the best part. It rained a lot so was quite mucky, but the waterfall was really impressive.

An authentic rain forest experience, cabin was cosy and clean, the creek and water hole swimming area was a highlight, when I needed Wi-Fi it was available at the reception area. Breakfast was continental and the fresh bread was delicious. The staff were very friendly.

We had one night stay at the Heritage Lodge ; would have loved to stay longer - it was a very nice place to stay; cabin was basic, but suited us for the one night. Included continental breakfast was a great bonus with plenty of choice of cereals & toast/spreads. Staff were very friendly; we enjoyed happy hour and also dinner at the restaurant in the evening. The wildlife in the rainforest came out early in the morning; and the sounds of the forest were amazing. Good value.

A good-size cabin in a complex that blends into the rainforest. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts and excellent dinners. Throw in a couple of real swimming holes in the local creek. How could one want more?
