The large dome we stayed in accommodated 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. Great location for exploring the area without staying in any of the larger towns along the lake when we wanted a quiet experience. It was a short drive to a number of very good restaurants. The wood fired hot tubs were great and the young man who maintained them a hard worker!

Set in La Ensenada, 9.3 mi from Calbuco Volcano, Cabañas & Piscina Rucamalen features a spa center and a private beach area. Llanquihue Lake is steps away.

We loved it. The design of the cabin was perfect for 2 couples. All the large windows facing the lake plus the outdoor patio was wonderful. Every night we watched the sunset. Just beautiful. Plus we had a little visitor, a fox!!!! It was one of our favorite places we stayed in Chili.

My son and I were on second leg of our Chilean trip. After south Patagonia we arrive to Chilean lake district. We arrive to cabana rustica after summiting Volcano Casablanca. The weather changed that morning. Even we have proper gear for all conditions we were cold and little wet. Our hostess waited for us to give us key the wood burning stove was fully lit and it was nice and warm in the cabin. When we just got comfortable and glad that we are in nice warm place our hostess showed up with loaf of freshly baked bread. Oh what a threat that was!! All our stay we had excellent communication with our host. Morning we left she showed up to wish us safe travel it meant a lot to us. Would highly recommend this place!
