Cabins in Hanga Roa

It was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, very clean and the view is amazing! Sleeping with the waves sound is incredible, also the owner is so kind I’ll definitely be back when I return to Easter island!

Amazing location next to the Ahu Tahai. Rooms themselves were really clean and comfortable. Miti picked us up from the airport and dropped us off - she was incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. If you message before your stay, I’m sure you could get even better recommendations before you arrive. Couldn’t have been a better stay

Beautiful place, comfortable, surrounded by nature.

The people who run this place are amazing, so friendly and welcoming it feels like you're in your own home. The place is beautiful and well located a short drive to the main high street. The room was cozy and bed very comfortable which combined with pitch blackness meant we slept very deeply. We we're collected from the airport and shown around town which was helpful and they rented us a great car and helped us with tours of the island, all very accessible and easy. This is a great option for couples, families or anyone traveling to Hanga Roa

Very nice welcome from Carla at the airport. We communicated very easily with WhatsApp and she gave great explanations about the town and recommendation for a taxi driver. The lodge is very peaceful, surrounded by farms and large windows to enjoy the sea view. The place is extremely clean and spacious, very quiet.

Location is superb! It is in the downtown and close to everything! 10 min walk to the famous sunset place. Also, Patricia is super considerate and lovely. She helped me book the tours when she knew that I booked the trip last minute at a very busy season and needed help with the tour plans. When she knew that I forgot my charging blocks, she gave me two. Super helpful! I would recommend it to everyone that visits easter island.

Rapa Nui is magical and the Cabanas Varua Guest House is the perfect place to stay. Utimi and Cata are two of the most generous and kind people I've ever met and the rental house has a kitchen, living room, dining room, two bedrooms, and a furnished front and back porch. I had the house to myself but it's possible to share with 3-4 people. I bought all my food for the week in Santiago, checked the box with Latam for free, and everything I needed was in the kitchen. A washing machine is available on the back porch and the living room has a TV, stereo, and magazines about Rapa Nui. This was my second visit to the island but Utimi and Cata made my visit so special that I wanted to stay an extra week.

We enjoyed our stay at Kahina Lodge. Yarela picked us up from the airport and checked us in. The property is quite pretty. The shared kitchen was down the hall from our room which was near the washing machine. There was a drying rack in our room. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and a bigger grocery store named Henua Market around the corner. The artisanal markets can be found down the street. Although we struggled with communicating in Spanish, Yarela is very sweet and always responsive. When leaving Rapa Nui, she took us back to the airport and helped with our heavy luggage. Both women who run this hostel are great. We highly recommend Kahina Lodge.

The owner was very friendly, we felt like we were members of the family. They picked us up at the airport and dropped as off at airport. They also arranged to have their son to give us a tour of the island. The cabin was spacious and comfortable; however, we spent most of our free time sitting on the porch. The cabin is a short walk from town and never felt too far from anything!

Very comfortable beds and all the services you might need, including hot water and even some lovely dogs and cats outside, whixh I loved! Not to mention hosts, who were awesome and shared some good moments I'll remember until next time I go
