Robert was an excellent host, who also included me to hang out with some of his friends and family that were visiting him at the lodge. He arranged all my activities for me and was very flexible. Also the breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. It was more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.

The view from the large windows of the room was exceptional. The staff were very helpful. We were happy with our choice because it is a lovely, tranquil property.

I could wake up to those views available out every window of Refugio Pampa every day for the rest of my life, and consider myself a lucky man. The staff was so friendly and accommodating that they stood out among Chileans, which is saying something. My only regret is that I did not have more time there.
