This is an amazing spot to explore the region. It's conveniently located in the middle of a delightful forest, by a refreshing river and plenty of spots to swim. The sea is not too far, and the host is truly an amazing person. We had a delightful breakfast. Not to miss. We'll be back for sure!

We are a family with three boys, 20, 18 and 10. The bungalow is not large but we fit in. It is located 100 meters above the sea level so that although there is no air-conditioning it is not so hot in the evening and at night. We could glimpse the sea from the terrace---the view is partially obscured by an oak tree. The place is generally quiet and secluded. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby---3 minutes by a car. We went mostly to the sandy Chiuni beach, which is mostly quiet, but we also checked out the Peru beach. One needs to drive to both, walking there (and back up!) would be deadly in the heat. The owner runs a hotel in Cargese where we picked up the key.
