Loved the location, overlooking Mt Batur and the staff was so friendly.

I really enjoy the places because it was very clean, newly constructed, and smells good. The view was also very stunning thanks to the majestic Abang Mount and the greatest Batur lake in one picture and the venue is right next to the Batur Lake, so nothing block the lake & mountain view. At night we could see the clear sky with a lot of stars. Some review said that Batur Area has a lot fireflies at homestay but we didn't see a lot here. The bathroom and the room is very spacious, nice! I think the service from the team was very exceptional and responsive. They even cooked for us delicious cuisine such as fried rice and fried mee.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and compassionate, driving me to a hospital ER 40 minutes away in the middle of the night when I suffered an acute attack of gastroenteritis.

We arrived at Lake Batur Cabin in the evening, initially feeling a bit uneasy as there was no one to welcome us. For a moment, we wondered if we had made the wrong choice, but those concerns quickly faded when Puttu and his family arrived at the property. They apologized for the inconvenience, explaining that they had to visit the hospital, which is why no one was there to greet us. From that moment on, our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The property is perfectly situated beside Lake Batur, offering stunning views that were simply breathtaking. Puttu and his family are incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. In the evening, they set up a campfire, which was a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know each other's families better. Puttu even treated us to some delicious local sweets, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The property itself is surrounded by lush farms, adding to the serene and peaceful atmosphere. Puttu, who is an amazing artist, has designed the cabin with meticulous attention to detail. From the walls to the chairs, the kitchen to the toilet, every aspect of the property reflects his superb craftsmanship. We were truly impressed from the moment we set foot on the property. A special mention must go to Puttu's mother, who is such a loving and caring lady. They even provided free accommodation and food for our taxi driver, who had to stay with us, which was a thoughtful gesture that we greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the breakfast was delicious, made with fresh ingredients sourced from the local farms nearby. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, and we left with fond memories. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Batur Cabin and will definitely be returning. If you're looking for a place that combines stunning views, warm hospitality, and a touch of artistic flair, this is the place to be.

Unique Concept, ambiance, view and location yet the facilities

The building was so clean and new, really close to mountain, love the atmosphere. Really quiet , far from the big road, only nature side with beautiful birds song in the morning!

Everything. Super clean beds, room and toilet. Adi was so generous, free coffee and tea all the time, so helpful with planning Batur hike. Would come again, so recommended!! Just in front of the entry was the best Bakso mie ayam- ate there 6 times!

What a wonderful place to stay! Very, very nice hotel. The staff and owner are the most wonderful people, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed the natural hot tub, the comfy warm beds, thick towels and cute rooms. There were very few flies at the hotel property, unlike the surrounding area. They were able to give our kids and us rooms right across from each other in a little nook where we had a lovely porch overlooking the pool. We were able to hire a guide and hike up Mount Baur from the hotel itself with our five-year-old in about 2 1/2 hours, he says it was easy peezy.

It’s well maintained with a good functional facility. The amenities are clean. Family friendly with many choices of pool for baby and kids.
