Wadula Safari was amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel located in the dry zone in Kataragama.

The staff was execellent, and the food was delicious. Everything was great and the location was very special. We had a pleasent stay there.

Wonderfully welcoming people! We had such a nice time here. It's quite rustic and simple, but the rooms are clean, the pool is pleasant, and the proprietors really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Good homemade food! I like how it's a bit off the main road so it feels very remote and rural. Beautiful views! It didn't hurt that I saw a pair of Paradise Flycatchers bathing in a little water basin. Not a bad spot for birds!

The Forest Chalet offers a hot tub and air-conditioned accommodations in Tissamaharama, 6 miles from Tissa Wewa. There's a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.

Great stay here, definitely 5 stars. The superior room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Food was great, plenty of choice of western or local food. Large and tasty portions. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
