Good location and close to the lake you can walk to it and it has the best view ever

my stay in Seems Lodge Nuwara Elia was fantastic. The tour guide (Chaami) and the lodge owners came to pick me up to the train station and took me into the beautiful lodge surrounded by green forests. Spectacular views from the house's main area to the forest and my room was nice. The house has lots of small cute details. Very comfortable. The breakfast was abundant and yummy. Then, we went on a day tour with Chaami to amazing scenery and attractions. He is knowledgeable of the area loves his work and takes good care of us. I will recommend this lodge and its friendly owners and Chaami to anyone

Friendly service and clean rooms

This was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places we stopped during this wonderful trip. We love nature, even wild nature, and this place is unique. To reach it, you have to cross a field and a river. You're surrounded by tea plantations, and the sound of the river is always in the background. It's run by young people who put a lot of love into this place. They prepared an excellent dinner for us, spending very little, and were very kind. The rooms are absolutely comfortable, and the location, right next to the river, is magical. An experience not to be missed.

Mr Bandaro is the consummate host. His local suggestions were so very helpful. He has made such effort with his accommodation and it's a lovely place to spend time. The breakfast is also immense.

We had a pleasant stay at this lodge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location was convenient, making it easy to travel around. Basic facilities were available, and everything worked as expected. Overall, it’s a good place for a short stay at a reasonable price.

Location, friendly host, nice view

Sailors Cabin is a cute A-frame house with two bedrooms. They provide high-speed internet (we managed almost 100Mbps) and internet powered television. Three people assist you during the stay. Rukshan handles communications, has wonderful English language skills and maintains your internet and their booking.com setup. Each morning, at a time established by you, Sujeewa brings a delightful breakfast up the hill to the cabin. She also maintains the gardens around the cabin. If you have transportation needs, Lakshman will convey you almost anywhere for a very reasonable fee. As he moved around town, I could swear that he was a former mayor of Nuwara Eliya. He knew everyone and they all deferred to him and helped him out (eg: Restaurant reservations). These three people and their service was the core of Sailor’s cabin. It was a wonderful cool spot in the mountains. For the included photos, the first is a view out of the cabin’s back door, the second and fourth are pictures of our breakfast and the third is Lakshman taking us on a boat ride.

The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.

Superb locations and very kind hosts. We enjoyed our stay. The srilankan breakfast was prepared with love.
