The cabin is clean and comfortable, parking spot is useful and very close to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. The breakfast was delicious and we absolutely enjoyed the boat ride early in the morning out on the lake!

The Jungle lodge is so peaceful and tranquil at the end of a busy day touring. The lush gardens are immaculate and full of wildlife to view from your comfortable decking.
We experienced Kumari’s fascinating Cooking Demonstration and so enjoyed the amazingly delicious end result! Kumari is such a talented cook explaining her methods so patiently and handed down through the generations. Thoroughly recommend! Other dishes are delicious too.
The room is so comfortable and clean. Such a peaceful nights sleep in the jungle.

IT is located next to a lake. When we arrived, there were wild water buffalos in front of the cabin. There are also lots of beautiful birds and monkeys So IT is great to sit out on the balcony and watch nature.
The host prepares great breakfast, there are dishes to choose from, hé alsó provides juice and fruits.
IT is easy to find a tuk-tuk tó travel to the cabin or the owner helps to get around.
There are so many things to see in Polonnarwa, IT is possible to rent a bike from the host.
There are also wonderful day trips.

The cabin had a lovely private veranda with a view over the lake. A really unique and homely place. Stay if you want something a bit different. We had a great time there!

We had a very pleasant stay with Sanka.He is a very attentive host with genuin smile on his face all the time.
The place is a great retreat for animal lovers. The cabin is next to a lake where you can see plenty of birds and enjoying your meal on the little terrace.
Hosts provides the bikes that you can use to visit thr acient city, which is not far from the hotel location.

Lovely rustic cabin on the edge of one of the main lakes (tanks) of the island. Convenient for the local cultural ruins and the town.
Charming and helpful host looked after us and provided an excellent breakfast. He even can provide bicycles to help you get around.

The small basic cabin is in a lovely location on the edge of the lake. Would recommend the boat safari which was a fabulous experience. We were lucky to have a close encounter with an elephant!

The location directly next to the lake, away from the busy and noisy city. Nice to have a own cabin and terrace with view on the lake. Bikes could be provided, ideal to drive to the ancient city. Host was very friendly and helpfull.

This cabin looks straight onto a National Park, and we were lucky enough to see lots of bird species and – around 8pm – some elephants at the edge of the lake. We were able to hire bikes from the host to cycle the short distance to Polonnaruwa, and as it was so close we arrived well ahead of the crowds. We chose the banana pancakes for breakfast, which were very nice. We were able to leave our bags after check out time, which was very helpful.

The location right in front of the lake was amazing. We could see fireflies in the evening and it was really quiet. We also enjoyed the beeakfast. The check in was really flexible, we could even rent bikes for exploring the ancient city which was amazing. The cabin itself was clean and cosy. If we have had more time we would have definetely stayed longer.

I loved this cabin: it's cozy and clean and has a wonderful veranda overlooking the lake. The owner is very helpful and serves a great dinner and breakfast
