We arrived at the property later than expected but Anne was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean and all the amenities required were available. Special mention for the mild clove scent in the room.

This stay was beyond my expectations. The area is incredibly peaceful surrounded by paddy fields with a calming breeze that instantly relaxes you. Early in the morning and again in the afternoon, I had the magical experience of watching peacocks dance truly unforgettable! There were also some adorable little puppies around, adding to the charm of the place. One of the highlights was getting to do some fishing at a small nearby water body — such a rare and calming experience. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I was treated to a delicious homemade kottu prepared by his mother — honestly one of the best meals I’ve had. Prasad was arrange a safari to lunugamwehera national park which is not in my plan but that is really incredible for the price i saw so many wild elephants ,crocadiles,birds species, monkeys and so and so.i recommend it to anyone. This place is worth much more than the price. No city noise, just nature and kindness. Keep up the amazing work. Good luck, Prasad — I’ll definitely be back!

Dylan was a fantastic host! The cabin was quaint, simple, and had everything we needed. We arrived late, but a wonderful rice and curry dinner was still prepared for us and brought up to our cabin. We were able to sleep in a bit in the morning because it is so dark and peaceful in the cabin. We had already booked a safari before finding Dylan's place, but we would have enjoyed a safari with him. He gave us a bird book for our journey. He also offers a walk in the jungle near to where they live which would have been fun if we had the time. Highly recommend staying here! The cabin on the water looks to be the cutest one, assuming mosquitos are not super active. You can always reach out and ask what's available! Oh, and make sure not to have anything remotely edible out in the cabin even in packaging. We had some tea bags and a box of coffee that a cute little mouse decided to enjoy :). Rookie mistake of ours since you are in nature, but just a pointer for others. There is a fridge in the room so keep everything in there.

Great spot, excellent people and facilities...

One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed at! The room is big, with a huge and comfortable bed, AC available and the bathroom is amazing. The area is very quiet, perfect to relax after a long and tiring day. Lovely staff, they will do all they can to accommodate your needs. They can also organize the safari for you. We highly recommend staying here, you will love it!

Wadula Safari was amazing. We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

Our experience at Nature Kingdom Sri Lanka was truly wonderful. From the very beginning, everything was organised with great care by Jayantha, whose professionalism and warm hospitality made our visit smooth and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious – each meal was prepared with fresh ingredients and offered authentic flavours that we will always remember. The setting itself is breathtaking, surrounded by pure nature and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and reconnect with the environment. We also enjoyed the wide range of activities available, each one thoughtfully designed to give visitors a closer connection to Sri Lanka’s natural beauty and traditions.We highly recommend.

A hidden gem! This tiny, simple lodge is perfect for those seeking to connect with nature and experience personable Sri-Lankan hospitality. My wife and I stayed there for two nights, and we loved it. The location is amazing. The property is in a sparsely populated area adjacent to the National Park, so you feel you're pretty much in the middle of the jungle. Our room was literally meters away from a beautiful lake that attracts many birds, peacocks, and quite a few monkeys. Early in the morning, you can hear the jungle waking up with all its intensity– such a lovely experience. I had a nice swim at the lake, and the water was pleasant. Roshani, the young owner of the place, was super friendly and helpful. The way she treated us made us feel like guests staying at a friend's place, rather than in a hotel. When my wife felt ill with the flu, Roshani sent her husband to buy her medicine, and was always attentive to see how she was feeling. She helped us arrange a tuk-tuk to get to the National Park, as well as the Jeep ride inside the park. Her homemade food was delicious– among the best we've had in Sri Lanka. If you stay here, I highly recommend taking the lake safari. Roshani arranged it for us and was super affordable. A local fisherman in a canoe picked us up early in the morning and took us for an hour and a half ride around the lake. We saw many types of birds, and while we didn't see any wild elephants, they told us that it's not uncommon to spot them bathing. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay, but do keep in mind this is a very simple, austere lodge. There is no wifi or luxury of any type, but that's kind of the point!
