I had a wonderful 8-night stay at Andiana Hotel and Lodge while waiting for my visa to Thailand. The room was clean, smelled great, and the bed was very comfortable. They offer both Single and Queen Bed options, ideal for solo travelers or couples. Plus, they provide a Netflix account on the room’s smart TV, which was a nice bonus! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, especially Cik Syafiqah, and the owner was very accommodating. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the reception area was clean and welcoming. For those looking to explore, the hotel offers motorbike rentals at very reasonable prices: 10 Malaysian Ringgit for 2 hours or 45 Malaysian Ringgit for a full day. They also have a fridge stocked with cold drinks, and an honor system in place—just leave your payment on top of the fridge if the staff is not around after 10 PM. A designated smoking area is also available. Right outside the hotel, there is a Chinese restaurant with Thai staff, and another nearby, Sixteen Bistro, serves both Thai and Malay food. The owner, a Malaysian Thai, speaks Thai, Malay, and English. In the evening, the Night Market, just 100 meters away, opens around 7 PM and runs until midnight. The bus station and 7-Eleven are also within walking distance, making the location extremely convenient. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say that this hotel offers great value for money. My whole experience was fabulous, and I would 100% recommend it for both short and long stays in Kota Bahru. I will definitely stay here again!
