Cabins in Beekbergen

Our stay at Chalet Descansar op de Veluwe was absolutely fantastic! It started with easy and smooth communication with the host via Booking. When we arrived, everything was clean and fresh and it was very easy to check in with the park reception. The host even set up a children's camping bed and highchair for us! The chalet was spacious and vey modern in comfort and decorations. We were with 4 adults, a baby, and a dog. Everything we needed was available. The second bedroom is quite cozy, but that is clearly communicated in the photos and share beforehand, so no surprises there. There were even extra towels and large pots and pans for cooking. The location is absolutely perfect, as it is in the corner of the park, right next to the forest. We were able to walk everyday in the forest and enjoyed the nature and seeing animals. The location was also close to the big cities, which we did not go to, but everything is close by. This is definitely a location I would recommend and I would definitely stay again! The property is clean, and comfortable in a great location to bike and hike. Nice amenities and good restaurant on site.

Lovely and charming little cottage, and very well located near many attractions. The garden is also very nice and my 4 yr old enjoyed seeing the squirrels and the birds coming to the little birdhouse. The kitchen is also well equipped and already had some basic groceries like oil, salt, pepper which was very helpful. There is a supermarket within 5 mins walk, which is also super helpful. Most importantly, the host, Caren, was very easy to reach, responsive and kind. We had some struggles with the heating and the car entrance and she helped out promptly.

Since we planned to visit as many interesting places as possible, we mostly just stayed overnight. The chalet is very cozy and comfortable. But if you're looking for a break from the daily grind, this is a great option. The park is huge, there are entertainment options, a water park, bike paths, a cafe, a shop, and more.
