We stayed one night in this compact, comfortable and private accommodation. The location was perfect, being only a five minute drive from the busy, touristy town of Franz Josef. We had open space around us and an amazing view of snowcapped mountains. The night was clear and we were rewarded with a beautiful star filled sky. Communication and self check-in was clear and easy. The bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels were good quality. I thought we would go to a restaurant for dinner, but the accommodation was perfect for us to cook dinner and enjoy the peace and quiet.

We loved the beautiful views from every window and the sunsets from the front verandah. Two beautiful children rode down the road to offer us some freshly picked blackberries. They were delightful.
