I really enjoyed having the space of a house over a motel room. Even though the bed felt a little firm I had 2 very good night sleeps.

Very good, modern motel rooms, real value: space, facilities, cleanliness, location close to airport and over the road from a large supermarket. Nearby on Cranford Avenue is a good Thai restaurant. Good parking. Manager very helpful.

Sherbourne Motor Lodge is just a 15-minute walk from the Town Hall and a 20-minute walk from the city center of Christchurch.

Good location that wasn't far from the center of town. The room was good sized and the staff were all wonderful.

This was the nicest accommodation that I stayed in during my two week motorcycle tour of the South Island of New Zealand. Very comfortable bed, nice shared kitchen and bathroom, lots of parking and close to restaurants. Also had a nice friendly welcome from the owner. Highly recommended.
