Cabins in Ollantaytambo

10/10 means definitely would stay again and also recommend to friends/family. Very kind and helpful Hotel staff in a beautiful natural serene garden setting very close and convenient located to the train station. Also not far off the town center and ruins. The alpacas are a bonus point, we tried not to use them as a photo op, they just enjoy doing their own quiet thing anyway : )

The vibes of the place is you feel like home.

We loved sitting in the courtyard in the afternoons and evenings reading, the gardens were beautiful. A morning highlight was the fresh orange juice with breakfast. It was a great location in a lovely town. We would recommend it to others.

What didn’t I like about the property. The caretakers are an amazing couple with a little girl that receive you and instantly put a smile on your face. Love the fact that they try and guide you into activities since the moment you are settled and they are committed to making sure you like your room. If they have another available they’ll offer to change you. We had a room on the third floor and they said we could go to the main if we wanted to but we loved our room. Had a big window looking to the little river that goes by. The room was spacious and the bathroom as well. Nice and hot shower and very clean. Would recommend 100% and would definitely stay here. The breakfast was complete, fruit, yogurt, bread, eggs, cereal, milk, coffee and tea. They allow you to refill your water on site as well!!! There are some areas where you can sit and relax, play games if you want. Location was great. In between both of the ruins in town.

Willka Lodge, Ollantaytambo — a wonderful stay with unforgettable views Willka Lodge was one of the most beautiful and memorable stays of our Peru trip. The lodge overlooks the magnificent ruins of Ollantaytambo, with the mountains rising all around, and the balcony itself is a perfect place to sit quietly and take in the beauty of the Sacred Valley. Morning light on the mountains and the ruins from the lodge was simply magical. What made the stay even more special was the lady who manages the lodge almost entirely by herself. She was extremely kind, helpful, polite and well-mannered, and went out of her way to make us comfortable. We communicated mostly through Google Translate, but warmth does not need a language — every interaction was pleasant and thoughtful. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was homely, and the breakfast was wonderful. For anyone staying in Ollantaytambo, especially those who want a peaceful place with superb views, a lovely balcony, and genuinely caring hospitality, Willka Lodge is highly recommended.

The room was big and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Also they provided us with great information where to go around Ollantaytambo.

This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.

The staff were great. The safety instructions were very helpful. All safety gear provided. The food was awesome and the beds were comfy. The pods were clean. The facilities inside the pods were really good considering the constraints in such an accommodation. They even had a small plant in the toilet! The views were amazing.
