There are three spacious newly built cabins facing the lagoon. All look identical and have the same superb water view. There’s a big covered deck with a table and chairs. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and appliances, the only thing missing is a coffee maker. A self controlled sliding gate in the surrounding wall creates security and privacy. Across the street is a small store where you can get almost anything you need. One can snorkel off the dock but the water is a bit turbid, however one can use the free kayaks to access better places. The neighborhood is very authentic and un touristy.

This place is a wonderful oasis in Teahupo'o close to everything. The room was pristine, well appointed and very comfortable. An easy walk to the village, the beach, and hikes. I highly recommend staying here for single or couple travelers who like to adventure and want a small home away from home.

Every staff member was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they made us feel at home right away. And the dinners were superb — perfectly cooked fish and meat, unique and delicious sauces, and gorgeous fresh salads.

Location was amazing for someone who is looking for privacy with good sun and a view while taking a swim!

We had a wonderful stay at Puunui Lodge – Three-Bedroom Villa. The property is beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and offers stunning views that made our time in Tahiti truly special. What made the experience exceptional was Nelly. She went above and beyond to help us before and during our stay, always responding quickly, providing great recommendations, and making sure everything was perfect. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for her guests made a huge difference. We highly recommend Puunui Lodge to anyone visiting Tahiti and are very grateful to Nelly for making our trip so memorable. We would happily stay here again!
