Cabins in Râu de Mori

The cabin is super cozy and perfect for a few relaxing days. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the place has everything you need for a peaceful stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have a nice vibe, while the common living room and terrace are great for hanging out with friends. Has all the facilities you need, from a common and spacious kitchen to very clean bathrooms. Despite staying with other travellers at the same time, the cleanliness was always spot on, in that everyone cleaned after themselves. The area overall is really quiet, with fresh air and beautiful views, but at the same time you’re close to main roads and nearby attractions. You may be lucky to get a glimps of some wildlife also near the cabins. The host is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. It’s the kind of place you’d want to come back to time and time again.

This accommodation is just wonderful. I could not be more satisfied. The hotel has a mountain hut vibe, great atmosphere, made of wood, furnished accordingly. We liked it a lot. Great value for the price. It is a family run business, and they are very great hosts. Polite, helping, bringing us some homemade liquor to try out, speaking good English, etc. You can order for a very reasonable price dinner and breakfast as well, which is prepared by the family. Homemade taste, local ingredients, big portions. Wonderful. You have a big plate with all the goods for breakfast and a typical Romanian dish plus a dessert for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. The terrace has possibilities to just chill and relax. There was even a local dog and animals around adding to the vibe. A fireplace outside, also a small playground for the children. Set in nature, close for hikes in Retezat. For sure, I would love to come back. Thanks for everything.

The stay at Casa Eggo was wonderful. after the long hikes in the mountains we got a good rest and recovered. the views are really nice. the fact that we could bbq was an advantage!

The hosts treated us like family, with exceptional warmth and generosity with their time, property, and even special requests. These are people you'd want to be friends with. The location has a splendid garden with hammocks, lighting at night in a bridge over the creek. It has convenient parking and is a 2 minute walk to a small, centuries old castle! The neighborhood is quiet except for charming cows with bells meandering on the road twice a day. They are always improving the property, so by the time you go it will have even more amenities and comforts. You are going to love it!

We enjoyed staying at this nice cottage in a quiet tiny village. The cottage and the whole property has a superb view of the Carpathian mountains and is near a nice little stream. The property is close to the beautiful Retezat national park and valley of the city of Hateg.

we rest well, the beds are big and confortables. the host was very kind, she showed us the place and the cows comming from the fields. our kids played with the cat.
