We stayed at Harmony in the off season and we were actually the only ones there. Apart from the beautiful tent and view from the tent, we could see so many starts and the entire milkiway from our balcony, which was mesmerizing. Apart from all of that Mike is a very nice host and we had some good talks, he made us lovely dinner and breakfast and helped us if needed and provided recommendations and directions.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. While self-driving through Addo, they were texting me updates as to where animals were spotted. Also there was a friendly cat by our door every night and the pool area was a great for relaxing inbetween safaris!

I had a wonderful stay at Amakhala Safari Lodge. The staff go above and beyond, the food is good and plentiful, and the suite is heaven. I recommend arriving by 2 PM on your check-in day so you can attend the afternoon drive. The drives are fantastic; the guides are very knowledgable and the reserve is huge. Come with a good attitude; you may or may not see depending on the weather or the fact that animals are unpredictable - but the guides will try their hardest! My guide Des made several efforts to find rhinos - even staying later than normal until we found them!

Just 7.5 mi from the Addo Elephant Park, these African style huts have luxurious interiors and a shared swimming pool.

The rooms were beautiful. Clean and housekeeping comes every day. The grounds are beautiful and it’s so peaceful. The location on a hilltop makes for stunning views. The food is delicious. They cater to you as guests in every aspect. They even turn your bed down prior to you going to sleep. The staff are friendly and personable. The games drives are excellent and the drivers, Saul and Johann are very knowledgeable.
