Food was fabulous, location incredible (in heart of reserve, very private, lots of non- threatening animals close by). Our safari guide was the absolute best - his love of the habitat, and the animals was palpable. He was flexible, humble and kind and allowed us to fully steep in the awe of being a part of the reserve.

It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in for a long time. Although the photos already looked stunning, the reality far surpassed our expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff with freshly made roosterkoek and vetkoek. The cabin was beautifully furnished and decorated, striking the perfect balance between nature and luxury. Breathtaking views from the Eagle’s Nest, it was off the grid and a chance to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Got to see zebras, wildebeest and giraffes! Nice hiking trail within the reserve itself too.
