The property is in quiet harmony with the natural environment. The rooms overlook the untouched landscape as far as the eye can see. Wild animals are easily spotted from the private deck. We experienced two game drives per day which allowed us to see the Big Five in just a few days. Led by safari guide Jafari, we were able to get great looks at most of the Pilanesberg wild animals in total safety. On my final day there I made a special request for a Birding Walk around the immediate area and was led by highly experienced guide named Andre through the bush. As we walked for over three hours and 1.63 mi, we observed 47 different bird species including: Spotted Eagle-Owl, Brown Snake-Eagle, Black-winged Kite, Gabar Goshawk, and a Brown-Hooded Kingfisher. The food was prepared by a gourmet chef and was delicious. We all ate at a family style table together for meal time and great conversations.

It is a beautiful property with a few animals roaming around. The tents were clean with comfortable beds. It was warm enough even in the winter - with space heaters provided in the tents. We had a dinner there one night and it was very good. The host even joined us for dinner and we appreciated the time he gave us and information he shared. He also arranged our game drive for the morning. The location was good - about 25 minutes to Bakubung Gate at Pilanesberg.

This is a dream lodge. The cabins are five stars. Spacious, comfortable, luxurious. The bed is super comfortable. The biggest walking closet imaginable (no need to have your luggage in the middle of the room). Absolutely great view. Great AC. Everthing felt like staying at a spa. All the amenities were in perfect condition. Would love to come back soon.

The lodge itself is out of this world. The layout of it means it's can easily accommodate a large group of people but still provides privacy. Each room had an outdoor shower in addition to the indoor one which was amazing! We loved the boma area and spent the evening sat around with a few drinks. The game drives were great. We didn't get to see any cats, but we're fortunate enough to see lots of other animals, including some black rhino and a random hippo on our drive out after check out!

Within 2.6 miles of Black Rhino Game Reserve and 23 miles of Valley of Waves, Ntamba Safari Lodge has free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool.
