I did not enjoy the meals at all on any occasion while staying at the lodge. The quality of the food was not good in my opinion and breakfasts were terribly boring and the milk questionable. On arrival we were greeted with warm orange juice and the cheapest quality wine imaginable. Dinners were huge portions but some food hot and some food cold. Pleasant staff all round but understaffed it appeared. The dining room with fireplace is magnificent.
