The sounds, the peaceful setting, the fresh air. The lodge feels like it is set miles away in the jungle, whereas you're just 5 minutes away from the main road. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and the host family is lovely, helpful and discreet.

This vacation home offers a garden as well as barbecue facilities. There's an outdoor fireplace and guests can use free Wifi and free private parking.

This was my favorite acomodation during my one week stay in Dominica. I loved the view, the outdoor setting, being fully in nature. it was very quiet, just a rooster to wake up :-) which was lovely. I really liked everything.

The property was so beautiful. the decor in the rooms was thoughtful and unique, and our space was clean and comfortable with a great view from our balcony. We enjoyed delicious home cooked meals while enjoying the amazing view from the dining area. The staff were so kind and helpful at meal times, and made us feel welcome. We really appreciated Stefan our host and all the detailed info he gave us for our day travels.

one of the most unique places I've stayed at. jem has built over decades not just a homey retreat in the forest, but also a small community. everyone was exceptionally kind. the surroundings are beautiful, waterfalls and natural pools everywhere. ziplining in and out was "forced fun" - normally you pay for this kind of thing. you're not getting luxury, but that's not what you're here for. there's (decent) wifi, which is impressive given you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere

We had an amazing stay in this jungle retreat! Surrounded by nature, it’s truly a serene and beautiful place. The hosts are incredibly warm and helpful, and they offer delicious breakfast and dinner. They’re also very knowledgeable about the area and the island. The only thing to keep in mind is that you'll need a 4x4 vehicle to reach the location, as it’s very remote. Trust me, there is NO way you can reach it in a 2WD vehicle. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!
