The Ocho Aguilas Eco Lodge offered us a peaceful respite in a tranquil rural setting – a nice relaxing break from the constantly connected world, while still being very close to the beaches and attractions of Guanaqueros and Tongoy. The cabin was very comfortable and practical, with everything we could need, including a living and dining area, two separate bedrooms, bathroom with hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen. A unique and delicious breakfast, including some wonderful homemade arepas, was brought to our door in the morning - right at the time we agreed on the night before. But even with all this, what impacted us the most was the kindness shown by our hosts, Patricia and Torsten. They provided us with all the information we needed prior to our visit, including maps and directions. But they went a step beyond and offered to meet us on the road so we could follow them to the lodge – a gesture of hospitality that we will never forget. We really enjoyed chatting with them during our visit, and they made us feel so at home. A stay at Ocho Aguilas Eco Lodge is an opportunity that should not be missed.

We were looking for a place That we could do some Astrophotography. This fit the bill out of the light Pollution. The host was very attentive and took care of Concerns quickly. We had enough power to run our imaging rigs, hot water and a kitchen to prepare Meals. The cabin was clean and was exactly what we expected. The viewing angle of the sky was again what we expected With perfect view Of the south celestial pole. We were very happy and would recommend.
