Amazing hostess, Christine. The gardens were wonderful and in summer you can dine outside. The very spacious bathroom was excellent with a great shower. There is a compact kitchen easily up to cooking a meal. There is a lobby where dogs can sleep as it is clearly forbidden to let them in the bedroom. Breakfast was served in Christine’s dining room.

Very nice house, clean and cozy, great that you could come with your dog. I liked the silence around, watching birds in the water and fresh air. The hot tub was also great, there is a roof in case of rain, it was romantic to sit in the hot tub while it was raining. I think we will visit this area again.

We loved everything about Le Chalet Champenois. The location is perfect for exploring Champagne and Edwin is a marvelous host, very attentive and generous with excellent recommendations. His breakfasts are hearty and delicious and he’s happy to whip up dinner on short notice you feel like staying in for the evening. We certainly hope to return and will highly recommend to others.
