This is likely one of the most beautiful places to stay in Peten, the hotel has incredible views of lake Peten Itza at pretty much every corner. A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

Wonderful place in the middle of the jungle. The staff was exceptionally helpful.

A public bath is available for guests. There's an outdoor pool and guests can use free Wifi and free private parking.

Location is easy to find and secure. The space is large enough to accommodate a family of 5. The use of a washing machine and dryer is an added bonus for traveling in Guatemala. The host offered to send a cleaning lady over amidst our stay.
