We really felt at home the second we arrived there. Teddy is a great host, Anna cooks the most fantastic food and everyone else was also great and super friendly. The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. The jungle tour was one of the most amazing thinga we have ever done, we recommend the three day experience. We had Dino and Rido as guides, and they did a fantastic job. Also, the food during the Trek was surprisingly amazing :) We even stayed a lot longer in this place than expected. When we left, we were genuinely sad to leave this little paradise and most importantly, the people.

The location was fabulous, right on the edge of the National Park. Orangutans were viewable at close quarters from our cabin on one morning. Dedi and his team were lovely, the service and food excellent.

Absolutely loved my stay here, I highly recommend it! The room was cozy, spacious, and had a great view over the river. I even saw an orangutan and a few monkeys from my room. The staff was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was really chill, with some staff members even playing guitar during the day. The food was tasty and reasonnably priced. Excellent customer services!

We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

If I go back to buckit lawang, I would go back there without any hesitation. All the family staff with Oudin and his wife, Rifan and Aan is super welcoming. They will make sure for have a smooth journey through indonesia and sumatra. And the best part for me is the lodge in the entrance of the jungle Wich allows you to connect fully with the nature. The perfect place to stay once you are done trecking with the orang outan.
