I stayed here with my family for the new year holidays and they liked everything about the venue. The kitchen, as the description says, has all the things you need and so it was useful for my family who likes to cook during our vacation. We would like to stay here again for a longer period of time!

Best house and best host ever! Zack, the host, helped us everything starting from booking a restaurant, contacting ski school and preparing everything in the house. We were surprised when we opened the fridge and found everything is well prepared. (Milk, yogurt, butter, jam, eggs, fruits, ice cream, ice and even a frozen beer glass in the fridge.) Also he prepared rice, noodles, snacks, chocolates, tea, coffee and etc. Everything mentioned is free of charge! Another thing that we like is the dish washing service, the host offer to do the dishes by just put dirty dishes in the service area and they will clean and put it back in the service area later. Although the host lives nearby and helps us a lot, we still feel private and comfortable. Thank you so much Zack, we do appreciated your action! This house has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 4 toilets. Very spacious! We will definitely come back! 10 out of 10! Do not hesitate to book this house!

The lodge manager is a super chill dude,despite arriving very late, he managed to cook me up a nice dinner. The lodge can be reachable via Joetsu JR if you get off at 土合駅 Doai station, and if would more than ideal if you can drive. Be wary of that the doai station has a long underground tunnel that would take you 8 minutes even if run down stairs.

We had an amazing stay here. The place was spacious, comfortable, and had more than enough room for our group. It was also in a great location—only about a 5–7 minute walk to the nearest ski resort, which was perfect for both beginners and families. The host was wonderful throughout our stay. She was kind, responsive, and always willing to help whenever we had questions or needed anything. She also gave great local recommendations for food and places to visit, and even helped us spot some local wildlife, which made the trip even more memorable. One of the best parts of the property was the private onsen, which was absolutely perfect after a full day on the slopes. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

The host are really friendly, the thermal bath facility are really nice and cost only 150 yen, the room in in traditional japanese style and for me really confortable. Be aware thet the location is around 15 min walk from bus station and a little bit in the mountain but we enjoyed it. We walked to the lodge from bus station at arrival and the day after the host drove us to the station. So nice and friendly. Everything nice and Down to earth.
