This very comfortable cottage was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The Japanese style tatami and cushions in the living room with the heater were very comfortable. Appliances worked great to cook for the two of us and overall a great stay!

Beautiful place, the pictures don't do it justice! It really felt like the most relaxing home, and we wish we could have stayed for longer. The host was wonderful as well. Do yourself a favor and get the shiatsu massage from the host - it was unbelievable and really helped my legs recover after a tough hike!

Place was exceptionally clean. Ideally located, 3 minute walk to bus station. Owner was very helpful and ordered breakfast and lunch packs for our Cedar trail hike to Jomon. The food packs were delivered to our door steps by 4:30 am to be ready for our all day hike.

It is like a home, with pretty much everything provided for you. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped. There is a kotatsu as well as a heater. There is a washer and dryer for a small fee. The TV has lots of channels and there are DVDs also, for those days when you’re stuck inside because of rain. I stayed there alone, but it could comfortably sleep 4 to 6 people. There is an A Coop grocery store about ten minutes away on foot, and they have a large selection. A steal for the price.
