David has built this lodge over the past 14 months, its really quite amazing. It's a quiet area, very few mosquitoes, perfect for resting between safaris. The garden of traditional crops throughout the grounds is interesting. The ecotone is perfect for birding. David is very knowledgeable and kind. He will organize game drives and pick you up from Voi train station. We plan to return in a few months.

The lodge is a very beautiful and relaxing place where you can spot wildlife every day as they come to drink water at the edge of the lodge. The staff is incredibly welcoming, warm and helpful. The rooms come with drinking water, mosquito nets, ceiling and standing fans, and basic bathroom amenities. The gym is available at the lodge with basic equipment. There are multiple pools across the lodge including one that oversees savanna where animals graze. You should definitely book it. I would come back in a heartbeat.

The staff was very accommodating with a smile, and the chef was very good too 👍🏾. Peaceful location, amazingly quiet except for the bird choir, which was soothing.
