We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottages. Our accommodation was spacious, very clean. newly built. I would definitely recommend this place as a quiet and comfortable place to stay in the udawalawe.

Our room had everything we needed: a cozy bed, working AC, and a clean space to relax after traveling. The host even gave us cold drinks and face towels when we arrived. Plus, the peaceful surroundings allowed us to enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, with monkeys occasionally visible nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Kuma safari lodge. There rooms were large and comfortable and the house its self is very quiet and peaceful. We a delicious lunch and dinner with them as well which was perfect. They also helped to organise the safari and a trip to the elephant orphanage for us and everything was seamless! The stay is just down the road from the entrance to the safari so it was very convenient to get to. Everyone was so kind and friendly to us as well. We would definitely recommend this stay if you’re coming for the safari!!

This is a very romantic place on the lake side. The owner built a pontoon on the lake and you can have dinner there. It is very nice and quiet. The lady cooked very good beakfast and dinner and her husband drives a safary jeep so we had a full day safari in Udawalawe National Park. Amazing experience!!! Go there!

Udawalawe is a beautiful hotel. The food is delicious. They prepare both breakfast and dinner. Gihan's fish curry is the best I have tasted in Sri Lanka. I can give the safari a 10/10. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Udawalawe.

‘Ishan, the owner, was super nice and organized a safari for us, brought us to the elephant orphanage, and as well to a river, so that we could refresh ourselves on those super hot days. The place is pretty, the room comfortable and the food was really good.
