The nicest family, always smiling and making our stay magical. We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Utasa Lodge it was such a relaxing experience with wonderful views and the thick blankets kept us warm at night. This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

Wow! I'm so grateful to have spent time in this beautiful place with an amazing family. If you want to see the Uros please do NOT book a tour book night here with Leonardo and Lina instead. There are such lovely people and offer tours themselves so you can discover their culture in a more private way and the money goes directly to a Uros family. We went on a kayak tour and were able to discover the whole village ourselves at our own pace which was great. The room was really comfortable, the view amazing and the food tasty. Lina, Leonardo and their children are great people happy to share about their culture. I feel really privileged to have spent time with them. One thing to note is that they live off grid, you only have USB ports in the room, the water pressure is low and it's a dry toilet. But they have managed to make it really comfortable anyway. We were surprised to even have hot water when we didn't have any in a hotel in town.

I honestly have never experienced anything as incredible as this, it's more than a place to stay it's an unforgettable experience.

This is an experience Hotel, something entirely different. Given that, it is superb experience. It is managed by Isaac and his family and he does everything to introduce you into the way of life of the Uros. We went out in one of his fishing boats, a magically experience gliding through the Dottore reads, listening to the sounds of birds and experiencing the calm of that Lake. In the evening he made a meal for us, in the morning, breakfast. Both were great. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of luxury within a very authentic setting. The pickup and drop off to the pier works very well, the trip is about 30 minutes.
