Had an unplanned stay at Kulla e Bajraktarit, however we were warmly welcomed. The rooms are warm, tidy and modern. The staff is great. Overall, it is a great place to feel isolated yet comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even helped us with some pointers how to get around and have lunch. This little boutique hotel is truly a home away from home. Highly recommended!

Stayed two nights late June, was treated more like a family guest than a commercial one. Ordered a food box to go for an early morning hike, the mother and daughter stayed up till midnight to cook it so the food would be fresher a few hours extra. They normally close the kitchen 10pm. Told them later how much I enjoyed the food, they beamed with such heart touching affection. The hotel is barely a year old, run by a generous hardworking family, fluent English spoken. Conveniently located off the Shkoder-Theth road, tugged in its own curve, sheltered from traffic noise, with an open view to the Theth valley and beyond. Ten minutes walk to village center and the Theth-Valbon trailhead.

This was a last minute decision for us before crossing into Montenegro. The road to this beautiful unique almost all stone town was beautiful. We met Hana who in just a few minutes had us in our room. The room was perfectly fine. Hana also runs the market below and the breakfast in the morning consisted of many fresh fruits and vegetables from her store. We were not used to being treated so nicely nor eating such a big breakfast so Hana packed it all up and it took care of our lunch also. Thank you so much Hana for a true Albanian hospitality experience.

Loved everything about this place. The price is so fair, the breakfast is amazing and the road is great. The river is behind the building and has a breathtaking view. The owner is a great person and we had a long nice talk...
