The swimming pool was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were treated like one of the family. Evening meal was delicious.

The staff was very nice, humble & helpful! We felt very welcomed by the owner & other staff. Rooms were good for the price, location was amazing, we felt like we were back in the past with the castle’s surroundings :) Breakfast was delicious & with fresh, local products. It wasn’t self service, so you could just sit back & relax on the nice patio. Definitely recommend staying here during your visit in Berat!

I stayed at the Berat Castle Hotel for one night with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — without doubt the best breakfast I had during my entire trip. My family and I agreed it was the most delicious and authentic meal we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cook did a fantastic job. The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

Staying within the castle walls was a dream! Villa Sophie was very clean, comfortable and centrally located. The room was a garden view and offered a spectacular view of the mountain range. It had all the amenities needed, including a refrigerator and air conditioning. Breakfast was a great offering of eggs, fruit, salad, cheese, savory pastry with bread and jam accompanied by juice, water and coffee.

The proximity to everything, the fact that it is family friendly, it has parking, and security cameras 24/7. The breakfast was delicious. We recommend this place 100 percent. ❤️

The hosts were super kind to us. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay! Simple, but very spacious and clean room with a very comfortable mattress! The garden was another highlight. Super beautiful! Despite not being central (~20 min walk from downtown), we cannot recommend it enough!

The location was a close drive to Berat old town. The balcony had a nice view of the mountains. The room was new and had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple and great. Service was very attentive.
