Beautiful and cozy family owned hotel, with lot of authentic style and comfort. Breakfast was amazing with domestic and warm food. Last night of our stay the owner made us lunch packets because we were leaving very early.

Our dinner was delicious. Gulon, Jeffery and Guy were very helpful and made our dining experience great. Wendy was amazing at breakfast. Starting our day off with a smile. The breakfast food was delicious and nice fresh bread and yogurt The beds were so comfy we decided to stay another night. Bella helped us book a room, the new beer on tap was delicious the 1758 is my favorite.

The new owners were incredible. Olaf was super helpful in every way to ensure our stay was comfortable, that we got to and from the Pieterpad route, and that our luggage got where it needed to go. Having the restaurant onsite was really convenient, and the food was excellent. Breakfast the next day was plentiful and varied. Room was comfortable and clean. We wish the new owners so much success!

I had the most delightful stay at the Hotel De Maretak. It has only a few rooms, which gives it the charm of a bed and breakfast. The building's architecture and the attention to detail in the decor both outside and inside continually captured my attention. The dining room is especially gorgeous. My room was average in size but comfortable and quiet. Most impressive was the evening dinner, which was worthy of a multiple-star restaurant. The owners could not do enough for me. They are amazing. I recommend this hotel very highly. If you have the chance to stay here, you should DEFINITELY take it.
